Nature and Environment
Highland Perthshire covers over 1000 square miles of glorious countryside, including ancient woodland, hills and mountains, lochs and rivers. Nature, environment and sustainability are at the heart of Highland Perthshire communities.

Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust incorporating the Důn Coillich Project - "The purchase of Důn Coillich represents the first ever successful community land purchase in the Perthshire Highlands. The purchase was made possible entirely by generous contributions, both large and small, from the community.
The local community has now undertaken to manage this land for the benefit of all in Highland Perthshire and beyond. With this initiative, interested communities and groups are coming together and working in partnership, creating a resource that will help improve the quality of life - educationally, environmentally, socially and economically. As a result of this community venture, Důn Coillich now belongs to everyone in the area."
The Scottish Crannog Centre - "The Scottish Crannog Centre features a unique reconstruction of an early Iron Age loch-dwelling, built by the Scottish Trust for Underwater Archaeology. Discover how and why these ancient people built their homes in the water, and experience first-hand how they lived at the Scottish Crannog Centre."
Aberfeldy Members' Centre of the Scottish Wildlife Trust - The Scottish Wildlife Trust is a membership organisation and the Members' Centre acts as the focus for ABEFELDY members who want to participate in conservation, fund-raising, site visits or just attend local wildlife events.
